In 2002, the Lehigh Valley's leading public and private sector organizations and institutions joined forces to create the College Valley Consortium- a partnership whose mission it is to:

• Introduce high school students and their families to the Lehigh Valley and learn why it is a great place to experience college life- and for families to explore;
• Expose students, currently enrolled at the Valley's great colleges and univiersities, to the boundless opportunities for cultural, recreational, and social experiences that are available to them throughout the region, and to meet students at the other Valley colleges and universities;
• Connect students with employment and career opportunities that prevail in the Valley, a region which is increasingly recognized as one of the leading technology centers in the nation.

Initiated by the Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges, the region's consortium of six independent colleges and universities, College Valley has grown to become a consortium of some 20 leading institutions and organizations-- each with an interest in sharing the Lehigh Valley message as an exceptional area to live, work and go to school.

Together, our goal is to create a positive collegiate experience for students from across the nation and throughout the world, in a welcoming and vibrant environment that blends big city excitement with small town charm and safety. We believe that these experiences could well foster a personal attachment to the Valley as a desirable place to live, to work and prosper after graduation.
